A year of archery for Grades 6–12: range safety and whistle commands, equipment, form from stance to follow-through, the engineering and physics of bows and arrows, the history of the longbow, horn bow and Native American bow, scoring and practice plans, and supervised hobby builds of a PVC bow and simple arrows.
