How to use School Launch at home
- Pick the grade above, then choose one core course per subject. When a student is between levels, give the course’s first unit test as a quick check (see placement tests).
- Print or download the course PDF. Every lesson has a worked example, practice with answers and a hands-on project.
- Follow the pacing page at the front of each course (most run about 32–36 weeks, 4–5 days a week), or build a combined year plan with a checklist and gradebook.
- Check work daily, test every unit. Answer keys are included. Unit tests show mastery; corrected practice builds it.
- Keep records with the year plan’s gradebook and a portfolio of finished projects, which you will need for a high-school transcript.
The year is complete when the core topics are covered. You don’t need to do every lesson.

How to use School Launch in a school or co-op
- Free to copy for your students under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. Print class sets and post the PDFs on your platform. Just don’t resell them.
- Plan the year from the scope and sequence and the 36-week pacing calendars (180 days).
- Assess with the unit tests, midterm and final in each course. The math worksheets come in A and B versions, so neighbors get different problems.
- Multi-grade classes: Explore Tracks, Art, Geography and the sciences work well taught together, with older students taking the deeper assignments.
