A high-school year in how a house works and how to keep it: shutoffs and the toolbox, toilets and plumbing, showers and drains, basic electrical, walls, pictures and TVs, doors, drawers and cabinets, stoves and refrigerators, air, heat and the fireplace, roof, gutters, drainage and insulation, and basic concrete, with the tools for each job and how to care for them.
