High School Anatomy & Physiology

A one-credit high school anatomy and physiology course with lab, for students who have finished Biology and Chemistry. It studies the body as a designed whole, system by system, told through the people who looked inside it: Vesalius and Harvey, Laennec’s stethoscope, Cajal’s neurons, Landsteiner’s blood groups, Einthoven’s ECG and Banting and Best’s insulin. Each disease is explained as a working mechanism broken, the way nurses and doctors reason.
