Grade 8 Greek

The capstone quarter: five years of Greek come due as the student reads real, unaltered Greek — the Bible’s first sentence in the Septuagint, the opening line of the Iliad, and John 1:1–5 worked through word by word for the Capstone Evening — while the last tools arrive honestly sized: the infinitive, the contract verb read on sight, the participle recognized as a verb wearing a noun’s badge, and the whole story running from Alexander’s one-Greek world to Erasmus putting printed Greek in Europe’s hands.
