Grade 8 Latin

A quarter that finishes the map and opens the real books: the last two declensions behind senatus and res publica, Roman numerals to a thousand, the passive voice of Isaiah's great promise, participles carved on the Pantheon's porch and the comparatives of the Olympic motto, then Magna Carta's famous clause, Caesar's first sentence unaltered, and at last a Latin paragraph of the student's own, written like the deeds of Augustus.
