Grade 3 Physical Education & Health

A quarter of true stories, from a volleyball net in Holyoke and a doctor in a roasting-hot room to Captain Cook’s sauerkraut, George Washington Carver’s peanuts and a paper tube that let a doctor hear the heart, each one followed by a real game, workout, water test, snack or run that the student does, records and tries to improve.
