Grade 6 Physical Education & Health

A quarter of real stories, from George Williams and the first YMCA to Sydney Ringer’s beating frog heart, Wilbur Atwater’s food-energy chamber and Kenneth Cooper’s 12-minute run, each one taken apart to see what people learned and how the body works, and then lived out in a planned workout, a heat-safety plan, a label lab or a timed run.
