Grade 8 Physical Education & Health

A quarter of real studies and stories, from the Framingham Heart Study and Charles Blagden’s hot room to Elmer McCollum’s vitamin D, Thomas DeLorme’s injured soldiers and Bill Bowerman’s jogging class, each one taken apart to see what was measured and how the body works, and then put to work by the student in a test, a workout, a hydration plan, a kitchen task or a 5K plan.
