Grade 9 Physical Education & Health

A high-school quarter of real physiology and training science, from the Kraus–Weber tests and Korey Stringer’s heat stroke to the 1954 sliding-filament papers, Thomas DeLorme’s three sets of ten and Martti Karvonen’s heart-rate formula, each one worked through with real numbers and then lived out in a baseline test, a fluid log, a home-cooked meal, a strength program or a training block.
