Grade 7 Spanish
A quarter of real stories, from Columbus's sailors spotting a light in the dark and the one battered ship that sailed around the world, to the pilgrims' road to Santiago, Sancho Panza's proverbs, Sorolla's sea and two of Samaniego's fables, each one opening a door into how Spanish talks about yesterday and tomorrow: the past tense, the going verb ir, the voy-a future, the little object pronouns, and gustar done honestly.
