Grade 6 Spanish

A quarter of real stories, from El Cid riding out of Burgos and the one hand-copied book that kept his song alive to the lions of the Alhambra, Teresa of Ávila's bookmark, Las Meninas, the great clock of the Puerta del Sol and a vaquero's day on a California rancho, each one opening a door into how the Spanish sentence grows: the -er and -ir verbs, the second to-be estar, having and belonging, telling time, and a whole two-part story read in Spanish.
